      Last Resort, but It'll Get You There

      Pros

      Training includes very useful material if you know nothing about programming. Some if you do. Will get you into the field if you can't get a job anywhere else. Pay is low for software, but enough and very worth it to get experience for future jobs. Less sketchy than Revature, and can tell you which city you'll be in before you start. Generally pleasant to work with unless you have a problem.

      Cons

      $20,000 weight hanging over your head. Zero mobility if you get placed in a bad position i.e. no skill development, little mentoring, overworked, little coding, irrelevant tech, etc. About a 40% chance of getting a bad position, from my and my coworkers' experience . They will expect you to work after hours and on call if the client demands it.

      Thank you for leaving a five-star review, and for recognizing that Dev10 instructors are great. We think they’re the best. Ask any Dev10 Associate and they will tell you that our instructors go above and beyond and take the time to answer any questions and provide whatever help is needed. And, yes, we do expect you to study outside of work. But in the end, when you land on an interesting project with a great company, you’ll see that the extra time was worth it.

      Working here was worst employment of my career

      Pros

      enjoyed the other employees but they were trapped in hades with me

      Cons

      Poor management, lying was a core competency no real growth or vision. Fooled themselves into believing they were growing. Did I mention they valued lying?
