Pros

The only pro is the paycheck. It has the potential to be great, but still waiting to see it come to fruition.

Cons

No cross-collaboration with departments that need to work together to be successful. Nothing gets accomplished because senior management doesn't know how to get along to focus on the business. Biggest let down is no possibilities to advance your career.

Thanks for your post and for your honest feedback. Our leadership team has had a series of in person meetings and off-sites over the past few weeks to focus on our 2016 objectives and to ensure we are all aligned on our go-forward strategies. This is important for a large and growing company. I am personally very excited about our future focus and where we are headed; join me in looking forward to some great stuff in 2016. And for the record, in the movie "Groundhog Day," I'd like to point out that Bill Murray's character does live happily ever after in the end! ...Tracy

Pros

If you need to learn how to lie, this one teaches you well. Absolute lack of morals and ethics at this company, if you want to trash your name, come on board.

Cons

CTO and about a dozen people lied about "business edition" cloud at Genesys. The executives mocked technology they got through acquisition, got rid of any one who opposed them from acquisitions, then flopped with their own "in house" product. When someone blew they whistle on major stories told to customers that were lies, that person was fired, and the executives who made this mess are now busy providing software on premise because the cloud bombed so badly. Arrogance abounds. CTO sold MAJOR FORTUNE 500 companies on a cloud product that was vaporware. The cloud product now removed at just about every company that bought it after triple the deployment time stated and the phone wouldn't even ring. Where's the Magic Quadrant on this one?

Pros

The payment is above the market average and there are many good clients to develop solutions.

Cons

There is no career plan and neither career opportunities. In the last year there wasn't any personal feedback either.

I agree there are many great things about Genesys. If you aren’t getting the feedback that you need, I encourage you to set up time with your manager. We have a regular feedback process called the Four Conversations, and we are in the middle of one of those conversations now; it’s a great time to connect with your manager regarding your career aspirations. You can also talk to your HR Partner if you need some guidance on these topics. ...Tracy
