Pros

There are no pros to working for this horrible company

Cons

Sweatshop type of company: Overworked, very little training, no help from management, harsh reprimands from rude managers, backstabbing by brown nosing longer term employees.

Genpact Response

Thanks for taking the time to provide us feedback. With people at the core of all that we do at Genpact, we make significant efforts in ensuring that our employees have a meaningful work-life balance. Equitable distribution of work among resources is a key area of attention in each of our global, diverse and inclusive teams. Our compensation and benefits packages are highly competitive and are regularly benchmarked against industry standards. But more than all of that, we believe in rewarding employees not with mere 9-to-5 jobs but rich, long-term and meaningful careers. It’s true that learning is changing at a rapid pace and each of us needs to unlearn what we learnt yesterday and then reskill ourselves with newer tools, technologies and methodologies to perform better each day. We offer some of the best training programs in the industry, which are recognized globally by ATD and Brandon Hall. It’s deeply unfortunate that you couldn’t experience some of our best-in-class people practices during your tenure. However, we hold your feedback in high regard and promise to look closely at some of the practices to ensure future employees don’t ever feel the same way. Thanks once again and we wish you the best for your future endeavors!

Pros

Work-life Balance was good. Some, SOME of the people I worked with were great, and was able to have a conversation where it didn't seem so generic.

Cons

I can go in and tell you where ALL the bodies are buried in this company, but I won't. Just trust and believe me when I tell you that this is NOT the company for you. Unless, of course, if you're Indian and someone brings you in. If you're American, they try to pass themselves off as if they're better than you, and talk down to you. Yet, they can't form two tangible sentences that make sense - this coming from one of their own clients - yep, I saw the email! VP'S expect you to be on and accessible at all times of the day and night. After 'The Scandal' that broke earlier this summer, that was my icing on the cake that prompted me to get out, and get out fast! HR is a mess, their on-site IT team is a joke! Like I said, I can go on, and on. This was the worst position I EVER had!

Pros

Decent salary but that's not enough to make people happy. You only smile the second you see your paycheck , then , back to misery.

Cons

Bad benefits They treat you like a slave or like they treat Hindu people No vacation time Micromanaged to the max Bad management HR people were useless. It was the most miserable work experience ever. I have nothing good to say about this company. If you are from India on a H1 visa I guess you would think the place is great but if you are an American , there is no way you could possibly like the work environment. Every single person I met at that company that was not Indian quit within the first year.
