Pros

Job security in a growing market (Gentiva does not fire employees. The turnover is too high)

Cons

Not a healthcare organization. No priority in developing teams or team culture. Gentiva is owned by a private equity firm that seeks high margin returns. This translates in cutting cost where they don't see an immediate return (Training, Development) Heathcare organizations see more value in developing strong teams.

Pros

Loved director and pcm. Worked on a team with some amazing nurses and social workers and aids.

Cons

Corporate is too heavily involved in day to day operations. Concerned about numbers, when we are just tryingntontake care of people dying. All direction is from a nurse and they dont really get social work without it being feom the perpe tove of a nurse.
