Great place to start out and learn about the industry and process from start to finish. . . if you're trained by someone who knows what they're doing. This is a good place to get toughened up and see wether or not this industry is meant for you.

Cons

They keep gaining new business and hiring more execs and creatives, but ignore replacing employees that have left the company, resulting in straining resources to the MAX. If you wear a suit, you don't roll up your sleeves.

Great people working with, nice and open-spaced office (SF), happy hour every Friday... Learn how to design events for big companies such as salesforce, CISCO, R+F... Good work/life balance (in terms of intern not real employee!)

Cons

Low pay - almost the min wage in SF Travel from SF to San Carlos at least once a week (Monday meeting) Intense working schedule - my boss is crazily busy that always on the phone call meeting. The downside is you can't ask question frequently and learn directly from her. You better figure out the solution by yourself and shadow her No free food or any snack - only one coffee machine No team bonding Doing design less than I expected - maybe it's what it is in event design... lots of trivial things not design-related need to be handled
