Pros

The company has good reputation. You'll have opportunities to work on Fortune 500 accounts. The benefits package is great: FTO, paid family leave, ESOP, HSA. Most employees care about their work and put in the effort to succeed. The agency is part of a wide network of resources and offices.

Cons

Offices are too political, bureaucratic and territorial. Boston office lacks diversity. Promotion criteria overplay time on the job. No work life balance: Managers and executives don't respect employees' personal time. Hiring process is broken: New hires are not onboarded effectively and not trained well.

B-Minus Company With C-Minus Leadership

Pros

100 year old company with first mover advantage in experience marketing and long standing, lucrative accounts.

Cons

From the outside looking in this company might look like a great opportunity. Beware, it is not. Once inside, you'll see that it feels a more like a feudal system of lords and peasants, all struggling to survive with limited land and resources.

Pros

Good benefits. If you are able to use them.

Cons

FTO is great, but the company frowns on those who actually take it. Training is non-existent -the throw you into the water without a life vest or flotation device is the norm. Bullying mentality from senior staff is condoned. Gender-biased culture. Lots of interpersonal drama and clicks.
