Great benefits and weekly lunch provided

Cons

Constantly letting employees go, comp plan changing regularly. The better we did, the more they would raise the bar so you couldn't earn as much in the future. They let almost everyone go in Dec 2017 and hired all new people and paid them much less!

Thank you for recognizing the great benefits that come with working at GetInsured. Our benefits team works hard to ensure our packages are competitive and good for the team. As far as the cons you listed, GetInsured continues to be a growing business in a changing market. Since the new administration took office, there have been several failed health bills, and there are a lot of open questions as to what the future holds in regards to health insurance in this country. Course corrections are natural and expected during times like these. Workforce reductions are never taken lightly, or executed easily, but in our ever-changing marketplace, we need to continue to make decisions that are best for the company, despite heavy hearts.

Pros

Working from home. Helping people get insurance policies. They helped me get my insurance license. Which was great. Met some great coworkers.

Cons

Not a very good fit for me. The recruiter was great but the supervisor was very unkind and though they said they would give us feedback so we could improve, we didn’t get any. Just was told they didn’t need me.

Many agent positions are hired as seasonal since the health insurance market has a clearly defined open enrollment period. Thanks for recognizing some of the great things about working at GetInsured! As far as the workspace, we have an open office format, which is common and encourages team collaboration. There are many conference rooms to have private meetings or if you just need a space for yourself for a period of time. We have additional common areas both indoors and outdoors for team meetings and brainstorms.
