Pros

From your first moment everyone makes you feel at home. Everything is well documented and structured and if there's something unclear there are always tons of people willing to help.

Cons

Sometimes timezone differences can be non-optimal but since most of the work is asynchronous most of the time it's a non-issue.

Pros

Extensive and up to date documentation for essentially everything.

Cons

Getting out of the the house and interaction with non-roommate non-family people, is a manual operation now.

Welcome to GitLab! Thanks so much for taking the time to leave your feedback. To your point about social connections, it can take some time to get used to certain aspects of all-remote work. Pros

Great place to work with a lot of autonomy to do what matters. Fellow team members truly live out the company values CREDIT. There have been crises at times, but as with any company of a decent size (close to a thousand employees), mistakes are bound to be made and the effect are compounded by the amount of public exposure that comes with being of that size. What is important is that everyone from literally all faces of the earth comes together to work together to face the crises and learn from the mistakes, while at the same time not putting any blame.

Cons

Not really a con but rather a challenge: contractor arrangement for people from most countries can be challenging and even disadvantageous.
