Stay Away!!!!

Pros

My task team was really fantastic so I lucked out there. I also enjoyed the type of work we did. We got a paid lunch and the hours were from 8-4 CST which was a nice schedule.

Cons

We were treated like human robots and paid nothing remotely close to a living wage for our work. Production goals increased frequently, we were not allowed to socialize, there were new rules implemented all the time, and we had several different “pod leads” (for example I had 5 pod leads in my less than a year working for GlobalLogic). We were required to have a masters degree to work in this job and we were not fairly compensated at all. I have a doctorate and I was making $24 an hour, NO benefits NO paid time off. STAY. AWAY.

Pros

This used to be remote work, but that was taken away.

Cons

The pay is shockingly low and the culture of fear overwhelming. We are micromanaged to an extreme degree- so extreme it's degrading. Quantity and speed are prioritized above quality, and yet unreasonably high accuracy is demanded. People are paid vastly different rates for the same tasks. There is no support for the disturbing content we have to deal with daily- content that the company has acknowledged is related to PTSD, anxiety and depression. Health benefits you might use to get help for having seen this content are so lacking they may as well not be given. This company simply will not communicate with its employees, fires them for speaking out against poor working conditions, lays people off without warning or explanation, and does not give raises with promotions. An example of the ridiculous policies in place is that 30 days advance notice must be given in order to take planned time off, such as for doctor's appointments. The low pay makes you feel stupid for even putting up with these conditions. I would advise no one to take a job here, unless they truly have no other options.
