Pros

Open Culture - Wojmderful culture which is driven down from the founders and the top management. An open walk in any time culture, companiy policies are debated on wiki and then formalized, employee feedback is taken seriously Opportunities for growth - Fast growing company, do well and you should be rising very fast in the organization. Lot of growth opportunities wither within the organization or with the mergers and accquisitions that the company is doing. Respect for individual - Each individual is valued and his/her feedback appreciated

Aggressive M&As, some of which have not worked out as well as desired

Pros

- Company shows interest towards bringing in new ideas - Most projects are in leading and upcoming technologies - Flexible work culture allowing people to maintain work-life balance. - Identified Core values (Innovation, Integrity, Teamwork & Openness) aligned with the vision of the company.- Salaries at par with most 'services' companies.

Cons

- Poor hiring strategy, Quality of resources low, which is not aligned with company's vision of an R&D firm. - Insufficient 'focus' towards employee development activities. Although more trainings are being organized, but still the training plans are adhoc and not adequately targeted by HR group. - 'Product' focus missing in most new hires. - Process Engineering group not at par & lacks 'practical' insight in many areas. - Core values not practiced effectively with the company. ** 'Openness' slowly drifting away as management finds it hard to discuss tough subjects. ** 'Innovation' is where there is a lot of 'talk' but very less initiative from senior management. ** 'Integrity' is demonstrated in many places, but decrease in openness covers-up instances where its dropped. ** 'Teamwork' is something that requires investments in terms of team building activities. Although team-members may be having a lot of dinner/lunch meetings, but 'organized' team-building off site events rarely happen.
