Pros

I've never worked at a company quite like GoCo.io, and I truly adore it here! The culture is unmatched— filled with collaborative, smart, fun, and passionate people. Leadership genuinely cares about employees, not just as professionals but as individuals. They listen, support, and lead with integrity and transparency. The work is exciting, challenging, and meaningful. We’re solving real problems for HR teams, and it feels amazing to be part of a team that is making such a big impact. There’s a strong sense of purpose, and everyone is aligned on driving innovation while keeping customers at the heart of what we do. The benefits, flexibility, and work-life balance are fantastic. It's clear that GoCo values its people, and that makes all the difference. The company is growing rapidly, but leadership is committed to maintaining the culture that makes this place so special. If you're looking for a place where you can grow, make a real impact, and be surrounded by amazing colleagues, GoCo.io is it! I feel incredibly lucky to be part of this journey.

Cons

Being remote first, you don’t get to see your coworkers in person day to day, which can sometimes make it harder to have spontaneous interactions. However, the company does a great job fostering connection through virtual collaboration and fun Slack culture. Plus, the GoCollab in-person meetups are amazing and give you a great chance to build deeper relationships with the team!

Pros

-Unlimited PTO -Meaningful relationships with coworkers -The BEST recruiter on the planet

Cons

This one is gonna be long, so buckle in! -Extreme Micromanaging: The level of micromanagement is suffocating. Every task you do is constantly monitored, and it’s nearly impossible to get any autonomy or trust from leadership. -Terrible Quality of Leads: The leads provided are of terrible quality, leaving the whole team to not be set up for success. -Unrealistic Expectations: Expectations are absurdly high with no understanding of the real challenges. Management sets quotas that are nearly impossible to hit, leading to constant stress and frustration. -No One Hits Quota: It’s no surprise that no one hits quota here. The combination of bad leads, micromanaging, and lack of support means that consistently hitting numbers is an unrealistic goal. -Lack of Tools & Support: There is a severe lack of the necessary tools and resources that could actually make your job easier. The technology is outdated, and without the right tools, you’re essentially working blind. -Frequent Layoffs: Layoffs are frequent and often feel like they’re done on a whim. Just when you think things are stable, you’ll hear about another round of cuts without any clear reasoning behind it. -Unsettling Team Changes: The company started an entire new team, only to terminate every single person over the course of a couple of months. It’s clear that management has no long-term vision, and this type of turnover only adds to the chaos. -The Blind Leading The Blind: Management couldn't sell this solution even if they tried (spoiler: they don't!). The product itself isn't bad, it's just difficult to sell something when not given the proper guidance. Not saying management is bad at sales, but at this point I don't even think they could sell ice water to people stranded in the desert.
