Pros

Working with residents. Loved them but not how other coworkers treated them.

Cons

They do not live out their mission. They use their mission to be not for profit but it's all about profit. They lost sight of Hoeger vision. They preach it but don't practice it. The rude stay while the ones who care get walked on and thrown out.

Pros

Great mission and good brand image. The organization is well positioned to influence aging care services in the country. Working here can be very rewarding and fulfilling.

Cons

The organization is slow to change, needs to be much more innovative to meet the changing needs of older adults. Compensation is low compared to similar jobs in other industries but the impact of your work can be rewarding. It's a trade off.

Thank you for your review, hopefully moving forward you will be able to participate in some stretch assignments, that include being a Preceptor, participating in your state association, and leadership training within the company, scholarship programs, or advancement as you learn and grow in your professional areas. With a company this size, the opportunities are available for you and others that want to lead our company into the future.

Pros

Wonderful coworkers, beautiful facility, okay benefits. Enough high quality supplies to take good care of patients. Average rate of pay.

Cons

. They were not able to keep good management personnel, the employees that did stay were often rude and arrogant. The management decided to use me as a CNA instead of an LPN. Then they decided to remove me from the facility I was hired to work and assigned me to a home health job. I was never consulted about any of these management decisions. It's a mess.
