Pros

Pay is great, they give opportunities to new nurses.

Cons

Favoritism, everyone's nice at first then after a while everyone turns. Nurse to patient ratio is not safe. 3-4 admissions with no help plus your 3 hallways. Everything has to be done in your 8hr shift. When help is needed no other nurse is to be found.

Thank you for sharing your experience with us. LVNs have a job that’s often unappreciated, and we understand the hours and the career itself can be difficult in a facility that operates 24 hours a day. It’s our priority to make sure we staff and train employees appropriately to help alleviate any additional stressors. We will share your comments with our management team.

Pros

The employees and residents were like family. The community was safe. Moving up in the company is not far fetched. People in the village are genuinely friendly.

Cons

Management lacks communication relationship with employees. Training for a position is very limited and employees are usually wearing 2 or 3 hats at a time. Although compensation was fair the work overload is insane.
