Our worker's comp claims are some of the lowest in the industry for an organization of our type and size. Pros

You have the ability to change lives. You are surrounded by knowledgeable people with different expertise. You have the ability to collaborate and learn. It was truly my family for 8 years. Trauma informed care, no seclusion or restraints. Management has changed during the last couple years and they really are living and breathing the mission.

Cons

It can be dangerous at times but they do provide you with the skills to protect everyone.

Cons

I don’t want to disparage the company because truthfully the kids need the support Grafton offers. I would just encourage workers to come in, learn, grow…and speak up on what you see. Some people or organizations don’t realize how blind they are until people they value speak up. Being that the line units keep the business flowing, it would behoove them to start finding value in all voices. To take an honest look at what is presented even if it’s ugly and make the changes. Analyze, design, develop, implement, and evaluate until they get it right. Like all companies… they could use some work. Again, THE KIDS, the parents, the community needs the help. It’s not an easy job at all but doable.
