      Pros

      Work is truly rewarding. Opportunity to be creative and solution focused if you are willing to be open minded. Big focus on staff training and generous tuition assistance program. Work with other wonderful and compassionate people.

      Cons

      There's no doubt that the work is tough but that is the field of behavioral health. Many more satisfying days than tough days.

      (Some) good coworkers When you're able to bond with the kids 3 days off a week (but you need it to recover!)

      Cons

      Poor management Low pay for the high levels of stress associated with putting your life on the line on a daily basis. No support from upper management

      No Consistent pay scales. People who are hired today, make more than the people who have been there for 20 years.
