You will learn a lot at Granite. You will get overtime.

Cons

You will learn a lot at Granite because they do not have a defined reproduceable training program. You are basically on your own; so you must be a self-starter. No work-life balance.

Good for foot in the door, but..

Pros

-Good starter job, esp just out of college -The management that is good, can be really good. Makes or breaks a position -Despite sharp downtick in work during pandemic, shifted resources around depts to prevent layoffs -Bonuses and day off contests are pretty decent -Benefits aren't bad

Cons

-CEO surrounds himself with yes men and seems to be committed to not incentivizing employees with things they really want -Despite being a billionaire who takes every opportunity to flaunt his wealth, positions are grossly underpaid and raises are only given when promoted (As opposed to yearly quality of life) -Granite moved multiple depts to a completely new system called ConnectWise, which isn't that bad of a thing since old systems were severely out of date. However immediately hamstrings those depts by gutting as many people as they could before employees were fully comfortable with the system -Moved the company to a hybrid 3/2 system with the stipulation it could be pulled back if metrics aren't met. OPs metrics are being crushed, but CEO is now deciding to pull company back to 4/1 in an insulting, buzzword laden speech, citing the need for "more collaboration" and "training" that everyone knows is not going to happen. Defers further questions to a CPO who can never be found or answers emails.

Lot of work to be done nonstop. The company is constantly growing and that means your work is always getting bigger. Could be stressful and overwhelming at times
