Pros

Nothing good to mention besides having internal teammates to trauma bond with

Cons

Granite is an extremely sales-driven company, which means the pay structure is heavily tilted in favor of sales representatives. However, many sales reps don't have enough product knowledge, likely due the lack of training this company offers. This often leave others to carry the burden of figuring out how to meet customers' specific needs which is both time-consuming and frustrating. Hard work is not rewarded. The more competent you prove yourself to be, the more work and responsibilities are piled onto your plate, often to the point of exhaustion. There is no recognition for your efforts, and promotions are nonexistent, even for top-performing employees. The current culture fosters a mindset of doing the bare minimum because there are no incentives for employees to go above and beyond. The company has no clear growth path, and turnover is incredibly high. Granite tends to hire fresh graduates at low salaries, and once they've burned out, their roles are quickly filled with new hires. This lack of investment in employees is a major issue. Telecom is a challenging industry to learn, and having already devoted so much effort mastering the field, you may find yourself trapped. But this company does not value your time or development. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere if you're considering a role here.

Pros

Coworkers are honest and decent people, typically those you work with closely in your immediate vicinity are genuine and have a grow-together type of mindset.

Cons

Your job is not safe, no matter how hard you work. They will show you who they really are when it is no longer sunshine and rainbows. The first year over year revenue loss equals mass layoffs. Needlessly redundant and out of touch management. Loyalty and diligent work earns you nothing more than empty platitudes and 'attaboys'. Do not delude yourself into thinking the company cares about you in any way at all, You will be laid off without a second thought regardless of how decorated of an employee you might be. Clients are leaving due to support issues, and in response they are laying off the people doing the supporting, it makes no sense. Low performers are dug into this company like ticks and it requires near Herculean effort to remove them. But the moment Granite loses any money, hundreds of people lose their jobs in broad strokes.

Pros

None to speak of because this is a top down systemic problem

Cons

From not paying commissions to extreme micromanaging this place is only good for gaining gold calling experience. Rob hale is going to cash out and has demonstrated no interest in improving the working experience.
