      Good Environment but Dishonest Management

      Pros

      Small mostly quiet office environment with little to no micromanagement. Get to work mostly in solitude. You get a nice spacious desk and cubicle. Thorough ongoing training program with supportive and friendly trainers that make you feel welcome. Most people there are friendly.

      Cons

      Lightly challenging job that has some complex scenarios with each call. There is a lot to learn. Some of the people that work there are mean in subtle ways (insulting, condescending, evil looks). Angry customers yelling at you over the phone. Overtime is hard to work because you have to do it with someone else. Location is inconvenient for driving and public transit. Management and HR is dishonest and indirect.

      Pros

      Stable company and great leadership from the top down. My PTO allowance early on was more than people get at some companies after working 20 years. Lots of training opportunities. People are friendly and helpful. Culture varies by department, but mine is very laid back. Everyone I know there honestly just seems really happy where they are. Probably why it's not uncommon to see people there for 15+ years.

      Cons

      Initiatives move slow, especially on the IT side.

      Pros

      Not many Pros to list. The only ones I can think of are Profit sharing and a Reputable Company Name.

      Cons

      The only way to grow in this company is to brown nose your way to the top. It's all about who you know rather than what you know. Management can be very demeaning and fosters a work environment that condones workplace bullying! Veteran hardworking employees are not valued. Terrible place to work!
