Thank you for your constructive feedback. Thank you for your feedback on the issue of time off / breaks. Lead teachers are receive paid time off and sick days. Great Hearts does provide excellent benefits (medical, dental, etc.), with employee premiums that are significantly below the national and regional averages. As a network committed to human flourishing, we address individual concerns at each of the schools in a way that is fair and equitable to our students, teachers, and staff. We desire a positive and safe working environment for all our children to learn, grow, and mature with truth, beauty and goodness as the pillars of their formation. We value the unique and individual contributions of our teachers and staff to make our schools successful.

Thank you for your constructive feedback. We believe the best environment for our students is one where the teachers are well trained and work collaboratively with administration. While we acknowledge that the culture of each academy may vary slightly, it is our goal to bring alignment and clarity to all academies around the mission to pursue truth, goodness, and beauty. Those pillars demand that our teachers and staff model virtuous excellence, but in any human endeavor, we fall short of those expectations and the work is hard at times. Still, we believe the mission is worthy of our continued commitment, and Great Hearts strives to support teachers and staff through effective leadership, professional growth, and fidelity to the mission. Thanks for bringing this issue to our attention. We will share these concerns with our leadership.
