We value your feedback and appreciate your review of one of our academies. We appreciate your feedback as we strive to set a standard of excellence for our students and faculty. We know all schools have room for improvement and we work with our staff to make changes. We are aware that our salaries have been lower than many district schools and some charter schools. We have been engaged in ongoing work on this issue for several years despite no significant funding increases from the states in which we operate, and simultaneously we must balance the need to maintain smaller class sizes, robust network resources, and safe and welcoming campuses. Great Hearts does provide excellent benefits (medical, dental, etc.) with employee premiums that are significantly below the national and regional averages. We have recently reviewed and increased our salary for the 2024-2025 school year. We continue to work on ways to improve work life balance for teachers to help improve in the areas of teacher retention.
