Thank you for providing your feedback on the supportive and professional working environment at Great Hearts. We appreciate the feedback on salary. We have been engaged in ongoing work on this issue for several years despite no significant funding increases from the states in which we operate, and simultaneously we must balance the need to maintain smaller class sizes, robust network resources, and safe and welcoming campuses. Great Hearts does provide excellent benefits (medical, dental, etc.), with employee premiums that are significantly below the national and regional averages. We have recently reviewed and increased our salary for the 2024-2025 school year.

We know all schools have room for improvement and we work with our staff to make changes. We are aware that our salaries have been lower than many district schools and some charter schools.
