Great Hearts appreciates your affirmation of our ongoing training and professional development, to ensure our students receive rich and thoughtful instruction while also providing faculty with an intellectual and personally fulfilling learning experience. We are aware that our salaries have been lower than many district schools and some charter schools. We have been engaged in ongoing work on this issue for several years despite no significant funding increases from the states in which we operate, and simultaneously we must balance the need to maintain smaller class sizes, robust network resources, and safe and welcoming campuses. We have recently reviewed and increased our salary for the 2024-2025 school year.

We value your constructive feedback regarding our schools. We appreciate feedback as we strive to set a standard of excellence for our students while adequately improving our compensation packages. We are aware that our salaries have been lower than many district schools and some charter schools. We have been engaged in ongoing work on this issue for several years despite no significant funding increases from the states in which we operate, and simultaneously we must balance the need to maintain smaller class sizes, robust network resources, and safe and welcoming campuses. Great Hearts does provide excellent benefits (medical, dental, etc.) with employee premiums that are significantly below the national and regional averages. We have recently reviewed and increased our salary for the 2024-2025 school year.
