We strive to have a great learning environment for our students and support of our faculty and staff. Working with children require a specific set of skills to be successful. We know there are areas of improvement with respect to communications and we are working on these areas. We appreciate your constructive comments about the culture at your Great Hearts academy, and we will share these concerns with our executive leadership.

We appreciate your feedback. We know our teachers and staff make our schools incredibly unique and special. Thank you for providing us with feedback on the salary scale for teachers and teaching assistants at Great Hearts. We are aware that our salaries are lower than some other schools. We have been engaged in ongoing work on this issue for several years despite no significant funding increases from the states in which we operate, and simultaneously we must balance the need to maintain smaller class sizes, robust network resources, and safe and welcoming campuses. Great Hearts does provide excellent benefits (medical, dental, etc.), with employee premiums that are significantly below the national and regional averages.
