I cannot complain , Grede has given me every opportunity to advance and improve my position because I show up everyday and give them 110%.

Cons

The starting pay should be more . Employees should get paid for what they know . They had a plant manager who told them that the more you learn the more you will make but the department heads couldn't agree on how to go about it so the Teir System went away when Shane Ingram left. ( I was lucky enough to get the money for my training at the time] Guys don't want to take on more responsibility without more pay , simple as that.

Pros

Love the fact that you can always learn new things. The people we work with are awesome and friendly. If you get bored doing one job, there are plenty of opportunities to move to another position and/or department. Benefits and paychecks are good.

Cons

Can be hot and dirty but it is not bad.

Cons

Work mix can change and schedules have to be adjusted Sometimes hard to find qualified candidates which sometimes results in OT
