Pros

Bank is very successful and it feels good to know that our jobs are secure. We also get to share in the success with annual bonuses.

Cons

We have a wide geographic so the branches can feel a little disconnected from the back offices.

Pros

Greene County Bancorp is the parent company of the Bank of Greene County. The Bank is a great place to work, especially if you're looking for a professional environment outside of Albany or Kingston. Strong leadership team, and good talent pool among junior leaders. Team environment, and "campus" feel with several buildings on Main Street in Catskill. Real sense of community and dedication to helping customers.

Cons

No major cons for working here. The company is growing, so there are a lot of opportunities for everyone, along with some challenges for the Leadership Team, who have been doing a great job.
