This employer has really good pay and benefits

Cons

The work at the juvenile office is draining and can be depressing, the environment is often hectic, and, even though several pleasant people work there, the workplace is toxic overall

Pros

Benefits are great and some coworkers are wonderful. There is a feeling that you make a difference even though you are never recognized for it.

Cons

Work environment is very cliquey in a negative daily. More gossip than a henhouse. Some are not able to agree to disagree and still be pleasant to work with. The pay scale could use a bit of work as some work very hard and do not complain. Others do the bare minimum and paid the same wage.
