Pros

The company has great people at the office level, plenty of opportunity to move up, and great training.

Cons

The union creates a nasty side to the company. People who do almost nothing still have a job despite their lack of ambition or motivation every day. Drama happens as a result of the union. Management seems to never hold all shifts to the same standard. If you are a "off shift" despite what management tells you, you as an off shift have no say, and no rights. You are at the mercy of first shift, and the management that is scared to do anything because of the union.

Thank you for taking the time to write out your thoughts in this review. We appreciate all feedback that we receive from our employees. I agree that Greenheck does have a lot of opportunities for movement within and great training avenues for the employees. Your feedback on the union environment and the advice you've given us is helpful for us to know where we can make improvements. If you have any other feedback, feel free to email me at hr@greenheck.com. Thanks, Sammi HR Specialist

Pros

They invest money back into the company to benefit the employees and they believe in their employees. They also allow employees the freedom to move around in the company.

Cons

Location: Wausau, WI is a village compared to Milwaukee or Chicago.

Thank you for taking the time to write this review on Greenheck, we really appreciate it when our employees take the time to review us. With our new Innovation Center, renovation of our Education Center, and expansion of our QuadMed clinic/fitness center, Greenheck has really done a great job at reinvesting in the company. I've also seen that people are able to move into other positions that they may not have experience or education in, which I think is a pretty unique benefit that Greenheck has. Wausau is definitely small, but as someone who isn't a city person, it's the perfect size for me. It has a lot of great outdoor activities for both summer and winter, though you're right, if you're looking for the "city feel" you won't find it here! Thanks, Sammi HR Specialist
