Pros

Work from home, easy hours, slow moving firm. Supportive of education and learning. Definitely a place for people who are self motivated.

Cons

Salary lags competitors, innovation and technology is a weak point. Aging workforce is going to be a large issue at some point.

Pros

Great boss. Management team really cares about employees. Freedom to develop your own career.

Cons

Compensation through the contract makes absolutely no sense.

Pros

Guardian definitely wanted to step up it's tech game when I arrived, so the move to a paperless environment was welcome.

Cons

Most management and the corporate-office / executive people are extremely condescending. The company felt like it was in the middle of a tail-spin when I worked there - always threatening layoffs because of budget problems, but having no problem hiring extra executives. Every person I knew who joined the year I did regretted it. I can only hope it's changed since I left.
