Pros

Being a 150+ years old company would make one believe that it is filled with out of date systems, infrastructure, processes etc. However, it is a new economy company in its own space. The pace of work, new technologies, state of art infrastructure, work from home arrangement etc is all something that one needs to be proud of.

Cons

Guardian being a mutual company will not lavishly spend on employees as much as one may find elsewhere.

Pros

The benefits where good, the people where friendly. It was a good company to work for they had a good 401k, good pay.

Cons

They outsourced a lot of their departments to India. There is not much that i can say was bad about the company i was there for many years.

Pros

Free coffee is always a plus. Decent pay, decent benefits. Great leave if you need to care for loved ones etc. Really updated new building in Pennsylvania.

Cons

Upper management has basically no idea of the needs of their team. Literally has no idea. What's worse is that they don't even know about the product or the systems they manage.
