Pros

There are lots of opportunities to work on different projects and great people to work with.

Cons

Since breaking off from PwC, they are rebuilding their infrastructure, and it is similar to working at a start-up company

Pros

Great people, and potential for work-life balance depending on the client you support.

Cons

Unorganized due to changes with the organization as a new company. Lots of pressure on management to pursue more work while leaving existing clients questioning where their support is, and how their money is being spent.

Pros

With Guidehouse being a little over a year old and still working through some of the infrastructure transitions, the company is acknowledging areas where it needs to improve and making the necessary adjustments along the way. The investment into the Digital & Emerging Technology team in the way of the new “Innovation Lab” as well as the necessary technology and training shows the direction that the company intends to go. Guidehouse is providing training to the team to level set the understanding and approach to Agile/Scrum (a previous review by a former employee doesn’t acknowledge this investment by the company or the effort by leadership to make sure the entire team understands the core of Agile - it is also providing more specific Scrum Master training). The company is also engaging with outsider organizations to expand the teams knowledge in areas like Diversity and Inclusion as well as Accessibility. The opportunity for everyone on the team to contribute at a high level, as well as gaining experience while leading efforts like Co Creation sessions and workshops with key clients is pretty unique. At most other organizations, many team members would be executing on very defined tasks with little to no opportunity to operate outside of the confines of their core competencies. These opportunities allow each individual to explore new skills as well as increase the capabilities of the larger team. The skill and level of talent on the Digital team is reflected every day as we have the chance to learn from one another. No company or organization is perfect, as long as we continue to move forward and continue to build the team and focus on the types of people, as well as their skills, the opportunities for us to succeed will be endless. As with any growing company, there will be hiccups along the way, and anyone who thinks otherwise is kidding themselves about the reality of being a professional.

Cons

The recruiting process is working through some growing pains. The infrastructure and timekeeping process needs to evolve faster to keep up with the growth of the company.
