Pros

I am part of a large group of intensely bright educators. I am constantly learning something new everyday. Staying true to Montessori is very important to me and is also very important to the CEO as well as my colleagues. I truly love my job!

Cons

Honestly, In a perfect world I would like more PTO and a 401 K match.

Great school community

Pros

Guidepost has wonderful support system. Whenever I felt that I don't know what to do, there are some online resource prepared to guide me. In addition, the support team will always have a answer to direct my work. I love being supported. And my head of school was promoted from my position before. She truly understands my challenges and pressures and always supports me in the way I really appreciated.

Cons

We have to be consistent in terms of policy with all other Guidepost schools. so we won't be able to grand some exceptions to families.

If there are ever circumstances where it doesn't make sense to apply a given policy, please do raise this with your Head of School and Director of School Success. What matters to us are not policies for their own sake, but the *reasons* behind each policy. And different situations sometimes warrant exceptions. Pros

This is an incredible place to be a teacher-you get the support you need to do your job professionally and well. The company culture is awesome, and I look forward to seeing how Guidepost will continue to grow.

Cons

None that I can think of-only apply if you're willing to give it your all though, this is not a place where you should be if you want to coast!
