Not many branches. Corprate is in a different state.

Cons

Corprate takes care of corprate only. Not a very friendly comfortable work environment. Would say commission plan is a joke but never really understood it anyway. Anyone at the branch level is treated like a pawn, and is as expendable as toilet paper. Don’t have the buying power of the other stores. Corprate protects their own and the employee turnover rate is almost laughable. 4 branch managers in four years at one location and the sales staff has probably been turned over as many times in as many years. Can’t or won’t partner with big manufacturers to have a greater market share. GE is pretty inept compared to other disturbing competitors.

Hard Work Pay Good

Pros

Monday to Friday not weekends, day work, many hours of work. free holidays and payments. time and a half after 40 hours.

Cons

Work hard under the sun, you have to climb the roof to do the work, sometimes they are slippery and very dangerous. If you have back problems or fear to heights this work is not for you.

Pros

Some very good people throughout the company and company checks always clear.

Cons

- Try to hire everyone cheap. Don't want to pay for talent at any job. - Branches are just cash registers for the family and are treated as such. - Family owned and insured business requires owners to scrutinize EVERY decision and dollar spent with little getting done. - Branches have to run so lean that growth is difficult and customer service suffers. - Technology is awful at best and getting laped by the competition. - Health insurance is mediocre at best. Costs much more for less coverage as my last, smaller employer with same provider. - Vacation policy is the worst I've seen for new employees.
