Pros

Education - learned a lot in the course, but for $150 you can take it many places.

Cons

$9 / hour regardless of experience - they say you are "in training" your first year. If an employee isn't worth more than $9/hr they shouldn't be doing taxes! they push you to sell products to people who really don't need them they have a 2-year noncompete agreement that they sneak in at the last minute they frequently schedule "mandatory" events that span for just a couple of hours, many unpaid with very short notice They don't tell you all the hoops you will have to jump through up front - there are many

Pros

The training is excellent for the price, my trainer and your boss really good on what they do, years and years of experience and they are willing to work with you, they were flexible , they need you. You learn so much and it is so much information to take all in in small time, I recommended to only people who really like to do numbers, and work with customers , this is a great program to start your careers in Accounting and Taxes. This is great even for your personal taxes, help your family. Build great relationships, the extensive case studies help you for the real work

Cons

Very stressful in the pick season and sometimes when you have questions there is no time and you have to ask your customer to come back later and then you have to review it with the experts, or as always there are exceptions and special cases that only the experts know, but that's the nature of your job, is taxes. Sometimes drama in the office, I stay away and do my job, experienced tax prepayers jealous of new comers, it was not our fault to have so much volume of customers. Pay- They don't pay competitively an hour specially for a tax prepayer who knows more than 1 language. Should offer incentives like the person who did more taxes, efficiency, ect to pay them a bonus, so it could create healthy competitive enviroment and reward the person who is talented, also can come back next year and not go to a competitor which will offer you 10 to 20 percent more.
