Pros

I receive extensive initial training and ongoing support from the Center Director. Management is supporting me to reach my educational and career goals.

Cons

Space in Manhattan is in short supply

Pros

I like working here at Hand in Hand. they really care for the families they serve and try to get the best services for the kids. Management has an open door policy for staff and the management understands different ethnic groups. They try to help their staff in personal issues if they can . You can go and speak to them about a personal problem and they try to help. They also try to promote from within which is nice. they encourage education.

Cons

Sometimes the office gets busy and hectic. but that is normal in an office. we could use more space.

Pros

The good- working with the kids was a great experience and they provide you with training before you start working with them.

Cons

The bad- they overwork their staff, underpay them, and they make sure they work just under 40 hours per week so they can't receive the benefits of working full time.
