      agreed to pay relocation fee, but after I joined, when I contact HR about this issue, they never give response didn't get my offer letter after I had worked there for one month when I requested for that, the management is really bad hire a java developer for non programming purpose, it's wasting time working there always try to save money from employees always speaks India dialects with me, I don't know what they are talking about, once one person talked to me : "Do you want to compare with me", really embarrassed to work there

      Pros

      HCl is a great company to work for. They are very large in INDIA. There are many opportunity hear for Database Scientist. If you are willing travel they work with thousands of companies across the globe. The people are very nice to work with.

      Cons

      Come of the challenges working here is that you start as a contractor. They tell you its full time but like any consulting firm when the contract is over its time to find a new job. They tell you its full time because they believe that there are so many job available that you will always find work. Not true.

      Pros

      Flexible work schedules and good health insurance. Opportunity to get involved with high tech projects that have the potential to change the way certain industries conduct their business.

      Cons

      Company is India based which means frequent late nights or early mornings to contend with a 9 1/2 hour time difference. Limited opportunity for advancement if your an American. Non-Indians are hired for very specific skillsets and utilized to the maximum extent possible. Wide differences in the rate of pay between North American / European employees and Indians creates constant tension. Company has been known to alter policies on bonus payouts regardless of pre-existing contractural arrangements. Take it or leave it attitude. Substandard offices and office equipment requires most employees to utilize their own computers, printers, etc. in-order to accomplish day-to-day work. Virtually zero investment in employee training and development. Third world attitudes.
