I love working here at HCSS, I started off as an intern, was provided incredible opportunity to learn and work on real and impacting projects and work throughout the months of my internship. I was offered a full time position upon graduation and started right away. I love: -the open environment, diversity of employees and management styles -ability to work 1:1 with the CEO and other executives -wellness centered environment that is encouraging and positive -relaxed and trusting environment if you get your work done

Cons

Sometimes it feels like there is an overabundance of ideas to work on so the efforts get disorganized and messy. Not much of a big problem, but perhaps some strategy to work on big and small ideas would be more efficient!

We've designed our internship program so that interns can work on real impactful projects and if it's the right match, always love presenting opportunities to join us full-time upon graduation. Because of our open environment, interns can directly connect with executives and other leaders in the organization for mentorship and guidance. It's awesome that you quickly immersed yourself into the HCSS culture as an intern and continue enjoying being part of the team as a full-time employee. As we scale further for growth, we'll be working on some standard procedures to help make things less disorganized/messy for all, but also be nimble and flexible enough to adapt to changing business needs.

Like anywhere else you go, no place is perfect. HCSS is working on improving the this but the quality of manager is not consistent across the board.

Hi there! Thank you for your review. I just wanted to clarify the PTO statement. I think there may be some confusion as every full-time employee gets 120 hours (3 weeks) of PTO per year in their first 5 years, which can be carried forward indefinitely. From 5-10 years of service, you get 160 hours/year, and 10+ years, 200 hours/year. If you have any questions about this please feel free to stop by.
