Pros

It's really hard to give this company any pros...we do have nice company outings every now and then. There are also some great people that work here (I really mean that) which makes things a little more pleasant for me but the bad really outweighs the good at this company. I can't say I enjoy working here.

Cons

I feel burdened every single day here. I feel like I am drowning but the only thing that really keeps me going is the fact that I have a few people to shoot the breeze with. -The first con is that we are {extremely} understaffed. I don't really understand how this is even allowed to go on for as long as it has and I believe no one in authority or with influence really cares. Someone that's worked there much longer than me filled me in on the company and told me that for as long as they've been there, my department has been the busiest and the most understaffed with a very high turnover. No one wants to work in this department. - Second con: Pay is low in comparison to the work load. Although, I'm not too sure more money would make working here any more tolerable.... -Third con: There's no integrity. I really don't want to elaborate on this because I want to remain as anonymous as possible...but I've seen some things happen here and I don't understand how so much gets swept under the rug. I really am disgusted...with what I've seen and some of the people I've seen do them. -Forth con: Technology is outdated. Also, the "higher ups" aren't readily willing to get with times and that makes my job that much more tedious and monotonous. Fifth con: There was no training. This is extremely problematic, especially for those newcomers (and there will be newcomers because turnover is high). I don't even bother voicing my frustrations with management because I feel like nothing will be done about it anyway (and I have experienced this as well). The consensus I've gathered from speaking with people that work there about all the problems here is that you have to just learn how to deal or look for something else.

Pros

- Nice break room(s) - Decent enough benefits - No odd hours

Cons

Worst company I ever worked for. It was honestly a downright traumatic experience. HR and consulting are a disaster at this company. My interviewers were not truthful with me about expectations. I was told this was a severely entry-level position, little would be expected until ramp-up was over, and that they would love to help me learn. Yeah, none of that happened. My boss did little to support me. Nothing was set up when I arrived on day 1. I had to set up all of my accounts, permissions, devices, programs, etc. myself. They did not care at all and gave me a full workload on top of that. My trainer was rude and unhelpful. Clearly burned out and frustrated. She made no effort to get to know me and she clearly disliked having to help me with anything. Eventually I felt like I couldn't ask her for anything. Escalating these concerns did nothing. Ultimately all I got was a hasty description of my job duties through a hand full of 15-minute zoom calls. And after that I was expected to be perfect. Favoritism is prevalent at HUB international. My aforementioned issue got as bad as it did because my trainer was a clear favorite of management. Mgmt doubted every concern I raised. I was called in for a "sync" with HR where they nonchalantly asked me a bunch of questions about the situation. I very much got the impression they were looking for any excuse to pin everything on me. My boss eventually stopped responding to me, stopped doing 1on1s with me. She told me she was sick the whole time, and therefore couldn't talk or meet. That's wildly unprofessional and so needlessly deceptive. I was eventually let go at the end of my first projects. There were no warnings, there was no coaching, and it honestly felt like they put more effort into looking for excuses to fire me than they invested in my actual training. I asked for performance feedback several times. I was always told everything was fine. I wont lie. I wasn't amazing at the job. But I tried my best, was always polite/appropriate, and always demonstrated a willingness to learn. The whole situation really hurt my early career. Spent quite a while thinking I was worthless basically. Now that I work for one of the best companies in the world, where I have been very successful, I know that ultimately the issue was with HUB and their 'leadership'. I was capable of succeeding, but HUB had no interest in helping me do so. They very much want you to hit the ground running, or you're out. Taking my personal experience out of the equation, HUB is just an awful place to work: Toxic culture. Toxic managers. Endless meetings that could have been emails. Brain-washed corporate culture. Following them and being active on Linkedin is an unspoken expectation. Their claims of 'work life balance' are a farce. You are silently expected to keep up with ludicrous deadlines/workloads by working at home on your corporate laptop. This was never explicitly said to me. But it was the writing on the wall. Pizza parties instead of raises. Downsizing headcount, increasing workloads. Your typical tired and checked-out corporate power structure where the higher ups do almost nothing while everyone else struggles. They would not respond to my unemployment claim until I made the state government call them and force them to.

Hard working employees, ok benefits.

Cons

Disorganized, not enough AMs to do the work so everyone must work long hours. Raises are mediocre.
