      Pros

      Everything, relaxed and enjoyable place to work. There is none of the stress that I had in my previous job. People say that the grass is not always green on the other side. Well I can say that it much greener working for Hachette and the best move I ever did. defiantly recommend working for them.

      Probably the only thing would be that not everybody could work for them... :)

      Work/life balance - not out of hours expectation Decisions made quickly Social side is active Great new office near Blackfriars

      Cons

      Poor decision making at the top level - not mature or commercial Some staff (IT and Facilities) stuck in the basement Processes are old fashioned - paper invoices being signed, paper forms for job approvals Not enough accountability given or expected by board management

      Pros

      Very friendly, market leading, forward-thinking, exciting place to work. Plenty of training and development opportunities. Brilliant new building in Blackfriars.

      Cons

      Wages are low, especially in junior positions. It is quite white middle class, although I believe there are plans to change this.
