Pros

Free education Ability to make 50% commission from the beginning of you have enough sales and services Benefits are offered

Cons

One company motto used to be quality of life. It now seems their only mottos are sell, sell, sell, and make us money. Requires online courses to take. You can’t have your phone on the floor to use the app that the courses are on so it’s expected to do them on your off time. None of these mandatory classes are how to improve your cosmetology skills, they’re about how to make more money. At the end of the day it’s about the bottom dollar but it’d be nice to feel like the company actually cared. More and more holidays are becoming days of work when at one time the family feel that once was would have salons closed those days.

Thanks for being a part of the HC family for more than five years! Humm....it appears based on your rating that you've fallen out of love with us, but not to the degree that you've left us - so there's still hope that you will fall in love with us again! We are still about quality of life and for most that means earning a living that allows one to be able to support all of their needs and some of their desires...we don't want you to oversell or be forceful but we do want you to offer your guest the best experience and that may require for you to offer them the opportunity to purchase home hair care products or a different type of hair care service to achieve their desired hair style or hair care goal…its more about the service and less about the selling! But keep in mind, the nature of any retail business (grocery stores, clothing stores, department stores, book stores, etc.) is to offer a product or service for a fair price - and that's exactly what we do...we hire top talent, we pay great commissions and we strive to provide our guest a delightful and memorable experience which is a win-win-win…a win for the economy, a win for our associates, and a win for guests! Regarding your advice to management – we hear you and we promise we are working to fill our salon leader openings and address retention concerns. A huge shout out and thanks to all of the salon professionals that have stepped up to the plate to help out! If there is someone in particular that you feel we have not acknowledged I sincerely encourage you to reach out to me or the home office so that we can personally let them know how much we appreciate them. Thank you, thank you, thank you for all that you do and for caring enough to leave a comment – I hope that across the next few months that you will see the changes that are being put in place and that you will begin to fall in love with us again! Wishing you the very best!
