You can make a lot of money, if your in the right location. My co-workers were my family. Loved them all.

Cons

With their "smile back guaranteed" you can also be fired after working for them for 7 1/2 years for doing your job. When a person comes back on you that is a professional complainer, gets paid and all kinds of free stuff from other companies in and around the area. They don't treat their employees with professional respect. Otherwise I would still have my job, now I'm struggling to pay my bills and feed my family. Thanks Hair Cuttery for almost making me homeless.

We can't really see any pros other than we have a job at this moment.

Cons

This company is a rip off. They have taken away everything . Pay is horrible it has reduced terribly. They make it almost impossible for anybody to get 50%. Pushing us to sell extra services and retail when they are profiting from it. Prices on services constantly going and pay constantly going down. Don't be fooled people any good review on Hair Cuttery is a review written by someone within the company.

WOW! I'm wondering why you stayed with us and continue to be employed with us for over ten years if we are such an awful company. As a Salon Leader you should be well versed on our compensation model and your ability to earn the greatest part of each dollar - all of this without the expense of buying your own products, paying rent for salon space, utilities, advertising and marketing, etc. Is it awful to pay up to the greater portion of each dollar to the Stylist? Is it awful to pay the greater of commission or an hourly rate to the Stylist? Is it awful to offer free classes? Is it awful to offer your clients products that will help them maintain their styles between visits? Is it awful to reward top Stylists and Salons with a trip to Cancun? Is it awful to offer benefits to include 401K to our Stylist? Regarding your don't be fooled comment - ALL comments are written by someone currently or formerly with the company. We do not operate from a place of greed - as I mentioned, we pay up to the greater portion of each dollar to the Stylist - this is not an excuse but a well documented fact. We sincerely want you to be happy and profitable in your career - if you truly are displeased, and you truly feel that the company is a rip-off, please know that you are free to leave and find employment that is more suited to your liking; however if you do decide to stay, please meet with your District Leader so that they can educate you on the compensation plan and ways to increase your pay and productivity.

does not pay PTO or bonuses to Salon Leaders that were owned, teaches salon pros to save and make money. PTP but does not have enough money to pay staff 2 weeks in advance, {saved up. } Lies to us
