The company does not care about you! Never and I mean NEVER ring out a customer under the wrong ticket...You will be fired for stealing! Join the union as fast as you can! They have meetings to tell you how bad it is to be in a union but they are LIES The company just wants to be able to change your pay whenever they want so THEY can make more money!

Pros

-constant client flow -easy to build clientele -minimal insurance -education -pto

Cons

-lack of education in management positions -human resources does not take your issues seriously -dl's are poorly tained (as well as salon leaders/asl) and put stylists in uncomfortable conversations with management over issues. Then leave.... -no followups -people company, biggest joke ever (ratner company) -if stylists are upset with you they will not book your appointments or book them poorly -absolutely no point in discussing problems in the salon. Nothing is ever done properly to fix issues. Other than that.. hair cuttery pays the bills

Thanks for letting us know that things could be better. Although we have numerous training opportunities it sounds as if you did not have the opportunity to take advantage of them. You mentioned that the leadership is poorly trained - we understand the importance of on-going education, coaching, and mentoring and make every effort to make sure everyone (including Stylists) participate in our on-going training and development opportunities. It's cool that we provide an income for one to pay the bills but we want to be more than that - we want to foster an environment where you can build a rewarding career, a place that you enjoy coming to, and a place where your talent and expertise is valued. While we set the values, it is up to each individual person to demonstrate them and offer an environment that is inviting for their fellow Stylists and our valued clients. It looks like you still work for us - please feel free to call the home office to discuss your concerns in detail as we sincerely take all concerns seriously. Thanks again for your thoughts and comments.
