Pros

Innovative and hi-tech manufacturing and development. Hamilton has the capability to be in business for decades. Creative and intelligent staff.

Cons

Toxic enviroment. Miserable employees. No teamwork. This is not a company of people with characteor accountability. Ancient database operations with no foreseable change. Staff is made of up family...generations in all departments and friends. The professional atmosphere is like a country club in which you need to belong. Most managers are unprofessional including the HR Department. Geat reality TV option here. No professional opportunities to advance. Ask about the turnover rate. If you are dependable, intelligent, creative with a positive attitude you will find yourself looking for another job. Hi-tech manufacturing and development. Hi-tech for all the handheld devises being openly used in meetings. Old fashioned and not forward thinking. You have to go back 20 years to work in this office. Customer service is lacking.

Pros

Interesting work - though not challenging Some fun people Opportunity to travel

Cons

This workplace feels like high school (read: DRAMA). So much so that when someone quits we'll joke to reach other "they graduated." Must be there by 7am - OR ELSE?! Your raises will be capped at 4% - no matter how well you perform! MINIMAL employee appreciation: Ask HR when they last had an employee appreciation picnic? Robotics director's strategy entails stealing competitors slideshows and hiring Tecan sales people Absolutely ZERO company sponsorship or volunteer events Interesting tax evasion system using US and Swiss companies

Pros

Great Swiss designed products and fascinating industry

Cons

The place is run like a medieval village where the king has no cloths and no one says a thing... The is for the Reno Nevada office only, the Swiss office seems to operate more like a normal company. - this site is monitored by HR and operations - current employees are 'asked' to put up new and positive reviews to displace every negative one - current employees would be fired on the spot for being honest on this site, hence most honest current employees reviews 'have' to be anonymous - current employees are forbidden to use Linkedin or other business sites, the owner basically says if your job experience is on Linkedin you are looking for job and are fired, this keeps his employees from networking and finding 'better' jobs - current employees are forbidden from staying friends and socializing with ex-employees even if they ave been friends for decades and even if they where friends before employment there - current employees are all 'time carded' which is the basis for the cost of living pay increase each year, no performance raises 'really' exist there - the US pushes products designed in the Reno office while they might not work as well as the products designed in the Swiss office, the Swiss sell no products designed from the Reno office, so basically the same company ownership but are two competing companies - when positions open, the staff has to 'not tell' perspective employees about the insane culture as they are already overworked and need the help - the owner play favorites and supports an environment of tattletales - the field staff is treated decently since they are run by managers but the Reno staff never knows who is talking to the owner about them - as a right to work State in Nevada, current employees are continually told to do what the management says no matter how insane it is with the last word being: 'if they like working here...'
