Fun product. Passionate and loyal customer base.

Cons

Leadership is a mess, and has been for years. Ever changing strategies. Shifting priorities. That equates to new positions, new reporting structures, and yearly downsizing and restructuring. Hard to work at Harley without looking over your shoulder wondering when the next reorg will happen. Only a matter of time until your number is called at this company.

I worked in Harley for over an year, mostly negatives - Horrible onboarding (I sat around for half a day first day, just waiting) - Lack of appreciation for employees - Too much time for unnecessary meetings, less time to work - Constant reorganization to keep work within boys club - Lack of upward mobility for non-boys club Basically an old boys club, who protect their (white) "bros" and come down hard on others. Almost no growth opportunities. Most people who are present, have been there over five-ten years - mostly teach forward philosophy is just theory and no practice. Product Development Center - mostly copies designs from other companies and call it innovation. CEO wants company to move forward, middle management is moving company backwards, still stuck in "blame the supplier" driven mentality
