Pros

They have worked hard in the past to make the pay scale competitive. Good insurance. Good 401K Not really much more to say than that. I am actually surprised to see some of the glowing reviews on here. HR / Recruiting must be trying to do damage control.

Cons

Perks are minimal. 1. Work remotely? Not in IT (Well, unless they need you to work on the weekend or during time off. It is ok then.) 2. Casual Friday? Nope, some executives thought that it "looked bad" even for those without customer contact. 3. Flex time? Sure as long as you consider only being able to choose hours between 7 AM to 6 PM as flex time. 4. High turnover in IT. 5. Micro management by some managers. 6. Too few good managers. In IT there are 2 (possibly 3) that are good to work for and this is being generous. 7. Management does not listen to concerns or ideas that would increase employee satisfaction.

Not a place for professional growth.

Pros

Salary is fair. 401k match is reasonable. Offers a variety of experience. Flexible schedule. Easy to get to. Offers a variety of wellness activities.

Cons

To many little clicks. Promotions are not based on what you know but on who you hang with. Leadership is a joke. From CIO down. Look for someone to blame rather than look for a resolution to a problem. Unfortunately who is blamed is not the problem but can't let one of the good old boys be tagged with their screw ups. Frustrating that the mind set is just get it done, not right, but done. WOULD NOT recommend this place if you have the desire to grow. They will not promote from within unless you are associated with the right people. Kiss butt and you will grow but do a good job and you will stay where you started. CIO needs to shape his opinion of others on what he sees rather than what he is told. Pay attention to what people actually do.

Not professional

Pros

The health benefits are good. If you are fortunate to have a good director, then you will like your work. Not a professional environment as with other major healthcare organizations.

Cons

Always in debt, poor communication with leaders. The pay raises are low.
