Pros

-Your coworkers are some of the very best people you will ever work with. -Grateful I got to experience the Hasbro that once was, with a leadership team that inspired and valued employees. -The brands are iconic and the people directly working on these brands are passionate and inspiring.

Cons

-The current leadership team has turned this into a typical sleazy corporate atmosphere. -Constant and never ending layoffs. -Employee perks taken away for purpose of control (under the guise of collaboration). -Overly watchful and distrustful of employees since RTO (they are monitoring badge swipes, etc) -Actively training people overseas to take over creative jobs. -No room for growth or promotion. -Continued disappearance of diversity throughout leadership (but especially at the executive level). -The move to Boston is bad enough but the fact it is Seaport is especially nauseating. -Layoffs resulting in unsustainable workloads for those left.

Stand clear of Hasbro

Pros

Good vacation and PTO. Closed for a week in Summer and at Christmas. Working with great people on my team

Cons

Constant layoffs. Everyday you feel like there is a target on your back. Leadership is a joke. They have no clear direction though they pretend too. This is a toxic work environment with very poor morale. Stand clear of this once great company.

Out of touch leadership

Pros

Hasbro still has good benefits including strong PTO, company shutdown weeks, and flexibility. But some exceptional benefits, especially for parents, like 1/2 day Fridays and maximum hybrid flexibility are being eliminated in favor of control and moving towards an "always on" culture. Amazing brands and amazing potential to get back to the company it used to be with strong values that the executive team lived and breathed - this executive team is not there and might not be able to get there.

Cons

Constant layoffs are demoralizing and create an atmosphere of instability and constant anxiety. RTO mandate is clearly not about culture, but control. The executive leadership team is very clearly out of touch with the teams on the ground. Likely move to Boston creating additional layer of anxiety for many employees. CEO is incapable of even saying hello to employees let alone showing them they are valued. Corporate culture is set by the CEO and Chris C clearly shows that valuing employees and colleagues is not part of that culture unless you're part of his DnD inner circle.
