      some fantastic people, great brands, fun job

      Cons

      over worked, under funded, no room for advancement in a company that refuses to change despite the constant hollow "challenge ourselves" mantra, faith in the wrong people, non-existent HR help, poor inexperienced stale leadership.

      Think twice before you trek to Rhode Island for Hasbro's benefit. Behind Mr. Potato Head's smiling face lies a demanding, unsupportive work culture and some problem execs who make working at Hasbro a challenge. A common complaint is workload -- too few people to execute the ever-increasing amount of projects – and rampant micro-management. There is little training and you will be expected to know everything "day one" while wearing many hats. The result is burnout and high turnover.

      If you are a sadistic megalomaniac, you will go far at this company, with the full support of management, human resources and legal.

      Cons

      You will be managed by people who are comically unqualified to manage personnel, especially if you are in a design role. Despite what its public face may lead you to believe, this is the most unprogressive, over-working, under-paying and demoralizing company I have ever worked for, in my 15 years working in corporate environments. If you are a recent college graduate and think that working here will be like working at Google or Amazon, you will be tragically disappointed.
