Pros

The clients are great. The pay is ok.

Cons

The place is very chaotic. Management in the residences are incompetent. 9 times out of 10 you might get put on admin leave or fired because of a decision that they made. Example: The manager leaves the keys in the van and an Individual tries to drive off. The CEO is a bully and human resources is racist.

Pros

Most of the kids are awesome, and the facility is clean.

Cons

Poor Management from top to bottom. CEO is horrible to her workers. I watched this woman walk around the building and belittle people for absolutely no reason. She is wildly out of touch with what the clients need, or what they are capable of. Being direct care of any kind is already 10 times harder than a typical job, but you add someone who has no idea what her clients want or need, and you have an even harder situation. You have upper management that treats the lower management like garbage, and lower management takes it out on the teachers...Made for a very negative environment. All the while they expect you to smile while being compensated with crappy pay and getting hit, kicked, bitten, and punched. The clients of course are who they are, and they are the most important part of everything, however staff is what makes the whole process work. I have never in all my years of working in the field seen a company treat their employees worse, they make it very clear that you are expendable. In 3 months of employment, I have seen about 12 staff members come and go. SO much turnover. Getting back to crappy pay, the pay itself is not the worst, but the fact that they give you 35 hours a week leaves much to be desired. you will not break 700$ in a 2 week period. You can try to come in early and leave late, it will not matter, and you will be yelled at for it. All in all avoid this place.
