Pros

Having used Headspace personally for many years, it really was my dream job to work here. I really can't imagine how some of the reviewers on here got so angry and resentful. Of course there are growing pains, but they're no different from any other fast-paced startup. I haven't experienced any of the toxic management that's referenced here, though I have seen some senior managers come and go in the 1.5 years I've been here. At the end of the day, I feel like there are a lot of brilliant and compassionate people at this company that are dedicated to making the world a happier and healthier place. The perk and benefits are amazing, but the people are the best part about working here. Headspace has done an amazing job of hiring good culture fits and the Headspace for Work team specifically is an amazing group of humans. Headspace is definitely the best meditation app on the market and it's very exciting to be a part of such a great, successful company that continues to grow.

Cons

Typical growing pains, a lot of shake-ups in senior management in the last year.

Pros

This is a fast-growing company in the health and wellness category which has been growing very quickly. Mindfulness has got a lot of interest recently and Headspace has been right there to ride that wave. Lots of talented, smart and hard working people. Incredible executive bench strength from leading companies. Awesome mission to "improve the health and happiness of the world", good mindfulness practices at work. Great brand that is reinforced every time you tell people where you work and get enthusiastic responses.

Cons

Lots of change - the company has grown from 50 to 200 in about two years. Projects are started, changed and killed. This is a fast-growing company, so this isn't unique. More seasoned management has been added that should help with this. The only constant is change.
