Pros

Great pay for entry-level job, amazing people, learning opportunities, great experience, benefits started out great - no complaints while company was booming

Cons

Once sales declined, there were layoffs each year.

Pros

Higher pay. Nice people. In some ways this review is not relevant because they were acquired. Assume that things will now change quite a bit.

Cons

Old HD is no longer in existence, was acquired by Rite Aid in early April 2014. Likely that Rite Aid will not leave them as an independently operating subsidiary for very long.

Great people, good compensation, mission orientated, telecommuting options, fairly treated employees when reductions were necessary

Cons

Poor work-life balance, release of the best people, too few employees to accomplish the work, secrecy veiled as transparency, low morale, frequent RIFs
