Pros

Health Equity has a great corporate culture and is constantly striving to keep the environment positive and pleasant. The environment is fun and full of energy.

Cons

The pay for a member services position could be better. It also seems like there is a lot of nepotism going on when it comes to moving up in the company.

Great company to work for, a lot of growing pains

Pros

- The people in general are great! - Benefits are competitive. - The equity grants are above and beyond anything you find else where. - Depending on your department, a lot of autonomy and flexibility is granted. - Casual dress code.

Cons

- Many people that have been at the company for some time are under paid. And to correct that its like pulling teeth and takes an unreasonable amount of time to address, if it ever gets address. - Due to growing pains, the company org chart is changing consistently. With jobs being created and eliminated.

Best Employer I've ever had

Pros

There are too many for me to list them all, but I will highlight the ones that matter to me most. 1. Management cares about you and your opinion. I've had 1 on 1 conversations with the CEO and had email correspondence with him. He's open, welcoming and takes the time from his busy schedule to talk to and listen to us. 2. They invest in you so you can be the best at what you do. (In house training, conferences, individualized promotion guidance, etc.) 3. Equipment is upgraded on a regularly scheduled basis. No more getting stuck with old equipment that can't do the job. 4. Did I mention that management values your opinion? They often make changes to benefits and other processes based on your feedback. It's empowering to know that benefits that effect you can be made better by asking them to make it better. 5. The culture here is fantastic. We may be on different teams, but we are all part of the whole. We work for and not against each other, there have been many occasions that others have come to anothers aid when the need arises. We don't leave anyone to go it alone.

Cons

It wouldn't be an honest review without some cons now would it? 1. I have to get out of bed in the morning. That's a con isnt it? 2. They don't have a shuttle service that picks me up and drives me to work. It's so inconvenient that I have to drive my own car. Look, let's be real here. I don't have any real cons to mention. Maybe that makes this review look fake, but honestly having worked a several other tech based companies I can't say enough good about HealthEquity. I can't picture going anywhere else, no matter the money. I value the work we do, and I can see the difference I make in our users lives. Because I use it myself! Do yourself a favor and come join the ranks of HealthEquity. You won't regret it.

Thank you for your review of HealthEquity on Glassdoor. I like to see that you indicate a pro as "management cares about you and your opinion" enough to have it be the first thing you mention. I do believe HealthEquity has good Sr Leadership genuinely engaged and interested in our team and workplace environment. Obviously not everyone is going to feel this way so it is appreciated when it is called out. For your cons... a work from bed program and personal shuttle service do sound interesting.
